BSCC Dual Enrollment Application Process

Step 1: Verify your eligibility

  • Student must be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
  • Student must take state-approved college placement test for college-level English, Speech, and Math
  • Student must have a minimum cumulative (unweighted) GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • To maintain continuous eligibility, student must earn a "C" or better in all attempted college courses. 
  • Please NOTE: Students who fail to meet this minimum GPA or withdraw from a course will be suspended from the program for a minimum of one term. The one-term suspension may not be served during the summer term.

Step 2: Complete the BSCC Application for Admission

Step 3: Complete the BSCC Statement of Eligibility for Dual Enrollment for Dual Credit Students
Please NOTE: This form must be signed by your guidance counselor

Step 4: Submit completed Statement of Eligibility to your guidance counselor,
along with the following:

  • Official transcript (can be obtained from the OGHS registrar)
  • Copy of unexpired Photo ID (AL Driver's License or state-issued identification card
